Authors

Cherilyn Orr

Cherilyn Orr has given her life to working with hurting children. She has lived and worked with children in Africa, Europe and North America, including refugee, street, learning disabled and inner city children. Cherilyn has a master's degree in Christian Education from Wheaton Graduate College. Cherilyn currently provides training for short-term teams working with children in crisis. She also teaches a course on Children at Risk at Vanguard College. Cherilyn lives in Langley, BC with her husband Mark and their four children.

Anne Jones

Anne Jones has a nursing degree from the University of Western Ontario, and specializes in pediatrics. Anne grew up in Zambia and brings a unique understanding of children in crisis from the experiences of her childhood. Anne lives in London, Ontario with her husband Craig and their three children.

Wendy Leaver

Wendy Leaver is a university graduate and lives in Athens Greece with her husband and young daughter. Wendy has gained experience working with children and students of all ages through part-time teaching of various disciplines. She has volunteered for many years at the refugee centre in Athens and was Cherilyn's colleague during her work there. Wendy's ability to document everything with precision and detail has made this book possible.
